Should I wrap the threads of the connector-hardware with teflon tape (ie., for pneumatic airline system)?
do i use teflon wrap on threads of airline connector pieces?
This would be a fairly common practice to ensure a good seal. The downside is that slithers of tape can get into the line after-wards and affect sensitive equipment. There are alternatives where equipment may be damaged by tape pieces.
